Among all the savory dishes we look forward to every year (my mouth is watering just thinking about my sister’s cornbread dressing and baked macaroni & cheese), let it be said that after all the gravy-sopping and turkey carving, you’ll get that inevitable question of, “What’s for dessert?”
This year, think a little out of the box when preparing your dessert table. How about a spice-filled sweet potato pie – loaded with roasted sweet potatoes, cloves, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a hint of orange? Or how about putting a twist on the tradition pecan pie with a platter of bourbon pecan bars?
